Description

Tintin and the Crab with the Golden Claws is the ninth book in the Tintin series and was published in 1940-1941. This book was the first in the series to be published in Le Soir, the largest French-language newspaper in Belgium. The newspaper in which the series originally appeared was banned from publishing by the Nazis, forcing Hergé to switch to Le Soir. He was also banned from incorporating political themes into his stories and therefore focused more on the plot itself.

The story is about Tintin and his dog Snowy, who travel to Morocco to chase international opium smugglers. In this story, the famous Captain Haddock is introduced for the first time. He first encounters Haddock on the ship Karaboudjan.

This poster is limited to 2000 copies. The serigraphy is printed on archival quality 100% cotton paper of 270 grams. The dimensions of the poster are 80 cm high by 60 cm wide (31.3" x 23.6"). Produced by Tintinimaginatio (formerly Moulinsart) in 1995.
