A stunning piece by Eleonora Stol. The colours are so vibrant and jump off the canvas. It's a mixed media work on canvas. Eleonora uses various materials such as acrylic, pencil and oil paint. 100 x 140 cm
Eleonora's method of communication is a stark antithesis to our technologically impeccable world. Passion is the main theme of her work, which she develops with her vibrant colors, full of life and light. It is possible to read love letters in her paintings.
About Eleonora Stol, also known as 'La Roja'
"Let death play the violin with its cricket on the strings of grey roads in the howling wind. I'll turn the cold wind into Spanish fans."
A wink to the white doves, giving them their cheerful feathers to adorn the skin of my fleeting nymphs. Occasionally, I marvel with my fragile charcoal along my contours, and with a butterfly on my walking stick, I travel, drawing, to a deeper immersion in the ultramarine celebration. There I tie red ribbons to harden the cold granite, and then I listen to them breathe by singing.
I'll read it to you, but without acronyms. I'll paint with daring arabesques, curvaceous clouds dancing in pink lingerie under a paper moon of artificial candlelight, where love dries on a Mirabelle Eau de Vie on a clothesline at nipple height, loudly flapping with round knees.
With my painterly eagerness, I experience a restless world, painting with liberal chalk strokes, color balancing on surprised brushes in my hand. I take the risk of slips, extravagant scratches and outlines, smudged mascara and scars from occasionally crumpled canvas, but it's a scream, an explosion; I open my dream suitcase and its pointer that directs those blobs and chalks and impossible strokes into my dab of paint. As I hope, ending in beauty.
Art theory is pointless here, with its confusing map of the soul that the souls themselves draw up. Capital-A Art doesn't belong on the dissecting table of stylish gentlemen and frowning psychologists. With me, the sun and the moon shine as accessories on curvaceous chandeliers hanging from a rainbow.
This expressive painting breathes energy and movement. With powerful lines and vibrant colors, the artist explores the dynamism of the human body in an almost dance-like composition. Abstract forms blend with recognizable fragments, creating a play between figuration and abstraction. The work invites the viewer to wander through a world full of vitality, emotion, and freedom.
