Bronze sculpture by Roland Rens (1952-2007), titled The Kiss.
Roland Rens studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mechelen, sculpture with Lode Eyckermans and drawing with Frans Van den Brande (1970-1975). At the National Higher Institute for Fine Arts in Antwerp (1975-1978) he was supervised by Marck Macken and Marcel Mazy. As a young student he helped in the studio of Vincent Halflants.

She was queen of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt and ruled as the Great Royal Wife alongside Akhenaten, the pharaoh who ruled Egypt at the beginning of the New Kingdom, from 1352 BC to 1338 BC, during the Amarna period. Her name, Nefertiti, means "The beautiful one has come."
