Harry Storms (1945-2023) was a well-known Dutch sculptor known for his dynamic sculptures of horses. He was born on August 11, 1945 in Tegelen, followed a pedagogical education and later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz. Storms' career began in the mid-1970s with exhibitions of his bronze sculptures in Sittard, after which he founded a gallery and sculpture garden in Sterksel called De Procure.

Storms' horse sculptures are best known for their sense of movement and vitality. They can be found in various locations in the Netherlands. One of his prominent works, "Bronzen Paard", is located in Someren. This sculpture is praised for its lifelike depiction of a horse in motion, which reflects Storms' skill in capturing the essence of his subjects.
